GEORGIA FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE FOUNDATION

The GA. F.O.P. Foundation is a non-profit charitable 501 (c) (3) organization governed by a Board of Trustees composed of the elected officers of the Georgia Fraternal Order of Police, which has been serving its law enforcement members throughout Georgia since 1969.

The general purpose of the foundation is to promote a greater understanding and awareness by the public on issues affecting the law enforcement profession.  However, our major focus at this time is generating funds to assist the survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.  Through the foundation, we are able to receive tax-deductible donations from individuals, organizations and businesses.  The disbursement of these funds is strictly regulated and must be used for the foundation’s stated charitable purposes.
