The Ed Dixon Memorial,
Glynn County Lodge #37 participated in the 2007 "Hands Across the
Border" on August 31.
The 16th annual "Hands Across the Border" is
a five state DUI dragnet. Georgia Law Enforcement joined their partners from
bordering States of Alabama, Florida, North
Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee in a major southeastern Operation Zero
Tolerance impaired driving initiative.
Lodge Members camped out at the I-95 rest
area and cooked barbeque all night Thursday. We then fed lunch to hungry Law
Enforcement officers involved in the event.
