On July 2, 2009, Marlin Humphrey and Chris Looney, of the Georgia Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), presented Ten (10) Ballistic vests to the Rabun County Sheriff's Office. These vests were provided through the Georgia F.O.P.'s, "Operation Protect Our Protectors" ballistic vest program. Accepting the vests for the Department was Sheriff Andrews.
