On June 8, 2010, Jack Willis of the Georgia Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), presented Two (2) Ballistic vests to the Walthourville Police Department. These vests were provided through the Georgia F.O.P.'s, "Operation Protect Our Protectors" ballistic vest program.  Accepting the vests for the Department was  Chief Harget.
